We went to Jincys for our 30th anniversary. I actually saw the ad on Facebook before Thanksgiving, but I knew we would have to wait until the following week after Thanksgiving because our actual anniversary was the day after. I really got excited because it was the general store from "where the red fern grows " , my favorite movie. I've been looking for it since we moved to Tahlequah. I'm here to tell you that it was well worth the trip. The food was so delicious and plentiful. It felt like we at someone's house eating a home cooked meal. The staff there made us feel just like that. So if you ever have a hankering for some good home cooked food, then head on over to Jincys Kitchen, you won't be disappointed.
Home Country cooking! I took my family here for dinner. It was like stepping back in time. If you show up, be prepared to wait up to two hours for pain fried chicken, but it's worth it! This reminds me of my Grandma's cooking. I loved everything about our visit. Jincy was so warm and kind. The sweet tea was delicious as well. The pies sold out, so we didn't get to try them, but we will definitely be back! This place should be on every American's bucket list! When we showed up, 2 dogs greeted us, and one even posed in our picture.
What a great experience, food was worth the wait! Home cooking at its finest. Where the Red Fern Grows!
